AKC All-breed Conformation Shows
The Harrisburg Kennel Club (HKC) is an American Kennel Club (AKC) licensed member club, approved to hold AKC all-breed conformation shows, along with other events.
We hold two conformation all-breed dog shows each year in April as part of the FIVE-DAY Blue & Gray Cluster.
Each day will feature an AKC sanctioned all-breed dog show with over 200 different AKC breeds of dogs competing in conformation. Conformation judging is based on the dog’s appearance and how well the judge determines each individual dog to fit its own breed standard, (description for its breed).
The cluster is held at the PA Farm Show Complex,
Giant Expo Hall, Harrisburg, PA.
Our Harrisburg KC shows are held on the Wednesday and Saturday during this cluster.
In addition to the AKC all-breed conformation competitions offered during this five-day cluster, we also offer:
AKC National Owner-Handled Series
AKC 4-6 Month All-breed Puppy Competitions
10 FSS Open Shows
Junior Showmanship Competitions
Pee Wee Events
A portion of the proceeds from these events are donated to local and national canine-related charities, as well as AKC charities.

8:30 am to 5:00 pm each day
Come to visit our 200+ breeds of dogs
being exhibited.
TALK TO BREEDERS, OWNERS, and HANDLERS about all of these different breeds.
Visit with the dogs and find the right
pure-bred/purposefully bred dog that meets your lifestyle.
Remember, breeders educate themselves for decades working to breed each of these dogs for their specific purpose, traits, personalities, temperaments,
and good health!
